Privacy policy

This policy explains which personal data Pilatlas processes, for what purpose, and what your rights are.

1. What data we collect

When you create your account: name and email. If you sign in with Google, we receive the name and email from your Google account.

When you fill in your profile (all optional): WhatsApp, gender, date of birth and city. This data helps us reach you when you need support and understand in which regions Pilatlas is used. You can leave it blank, change it or delete it at any time, without losing any feature.

When you subscribe: payment data is collected and stored directly by our payment processor. We do not store card numbers.

When you use the platform: the classes you build, your favorites, which videos you watched and for how long, plus technical data such as IP address and device information.

A note on class notes. Pilatlas allows free-form notes on the classes you build. If you record information about students' physical condition or health, that data is stored here. We recommend avoiding information that identifies your students — responsibility for those records, towards the data subjects, is yours.

Applying to a job · When you apply to a listing that accepts applications: we send the advertiser the name, email and WhatsApp registered on your account.

2. What we use it for

Creating and maintaining your account; processing your subscription and charges; delivering content and features; sending communications about your subscription, such as confirmation, trial-end notice and billing; improving the product and the catalog; preventing fraud and misuse; and complying with legal obligations.

We do not sell your data. We use advertising measurement only to learn which ads bring new teachers to Pilatlas.

3. Who we share it with

We share only what is necessary with service providers that make the platform possible, and only for the purposes above: payment processing (name, email and payment data); hosting and database (your account and usage data); email delivery (name and email); and video delivery (technical connection data).

Some of these providers are located abroad, which involves international data transfer, always limited to what is necessary for the service to work.

We may also share data when required by a court order or competent authority.

Audience and advertising measurement. We use Google Analytics and Google Ads (Google Ireland Limited and Google LLC) and the Meta Pixel (Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd.) to understand how people reach Pilatlas and which ads work. What is shared is browsing data (pages viewed, where the visit came from, language, technical device data and cookie identifiers). We do not send Google or Meta your name, e-mail, phone number or what you do inside the platform.

When you apply to a job

Some job board listings accept applications through Pilatlas. Only in those cases, and only if you ask, do we send your data to the studio that published the position.

  • What is sent: your name, email and WhatsApp registered on the account. Nothing beyond that — we do not send résumés, attachments, your platform usage history or any other data.
  • To whom: the advertiser of that specific position, at the contact they provided when publishing.
  • It only happens with your consent. Before sending, we show exactly which data goes and to whom, and you must agree. We keep the date and the text you read, as a record that the request came from you.
  • On all other listings, nothing is shared. When the studio prefers to be contacted directly, you use the contacts in the listing on your own, and we send nothing.
  • Sending cannot be undone. The studio receives your data by email. You can choose not to apply to any other position, but we have no way to recall a message already delivered.
  • The studio is responsible for the data it receives. It is not our service provider: from the moment it receives your data, it is the one responsible for its use. By publishing, the advertiser agrees to use that data only for that selection process and to discard it when it ends.
  • How long we keep it: we keep the record of the application and the consent for 2 years.

If you delete your account, your application data is erased. Only the record that a consent was given on that date remains, with nothing that identifies you — it is what proves the sending was legitimate.

4. Cookies

We use cookies necessary for operation — keeping you signed in and remembering preferences — and Google and Meta (Instagram/Facebook) cookies for audience and advertising measurement.

One example of a necessary cookie: “pilatlas.locale” stores only the language you chose, so the page opens in the right language. It does not identify you and is not shared with third parties.

Where the law requires prior permission (European Union, United Kingdom and Switzerland), we show a notice before enabling measurement and advertising cookies, and nothing is stored until you choose. We keep the date of your choice and the version of the notice you read. You can change your mind at any time through the “Cookies” link in the footer — the change takes effect immediately.

5. How long we keep it

We keep your data while your account exists. Billing and access records are kept for the periods required by law, even after the account is closed.

Once the account is closed, the remaining data is deleted.

Applications and consent record · 2 years.

6. Your rights

You can, at any time: know what data we hold and access it; correct incomplete or outdated data; request deletion of your data; request portability; revoke consent; and file a complaint with the Brazilian data protection authority (ANPD).

Deleting your account and your data can be done directly in your profile. For other requests, write to contato@pilatlas.com — we reply within 15 days.

7. Security

We adopt measures to protect your data, including encryption in transit and access control. We do not store credit card data.

No system is fully immune. In the event of an incident with relevant risk, we will notify you and the ANPD within the legal deadlines.

8. Minors

Pilatlas is intended for people over 18 and we do not intentionally collect data from minors.

9. Changes

Significant changes will be communicated by email and reflected in the date at the top of this page.
